Huawei Honor V9 has been officially unveiled at a media event in China, just as expected. For now, just take a look at its key details.

Huawei Honor V9 features a 5.7-inch QuadHD LTPS LCD display set at a resolution of 2560×1440 and the 64-bit Kirin 960 octa-core processor accompanied by Mali-G71 graphics. The Kirin 960, found in the Mate 9 series, is Huawei subsidiary HiSilicon’s latest and greatest chipset. The handset packs 4/6GB of RAM dependent on configuration, and 64/128 GB of expandable storage via a microSD card.

In the camera department, Huawei Honor V9 comes with two 12MP sensors on the back with an aperture of f/2.2, laser autofocus, LED flash, and 4K video capture. Both cameras can work together to provide better contrast, and better light and shadow reproduction. The handset sports a 8MP f/2.0 camera on its front.

Running on Android 7.0 Nougat underneath Huawei’s EMUI 5.0, Huawei Honor V9 draws its power from a beefy 4,000 mAh battery.

In terms of dimensions, the dual-SIM device measures in at 157 x 77.5 x 6.97 mm and weighs 184 grams. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 Low Energy, GPS with GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C.

Huwei Honor V9 is available in three different versions, one with 4GB RAM/64GB ROM for 2599 Yuan ($377), one with 6GB RAM/128GB ROM for 3499 Yuan ($508). Coming in four colors, including Gold, Red, Black and Blue, the Honor V9 will go on sale in China at 10AM on February 28. Currently, details regarding an international launch are yet to be mentioned.
