There hasn’t been much news about the latest Oppo Find 9, except for the most recent speculation that the handset would run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. However, the Find 9 is back in news with a couple of alleged images that reveal the handset may come with a bezel-less design, which means it won’t have any physical home button positioned on the front. It’s likely that the Find 9 will feature an optical fingerprint scanner embedded within the phone display.
Along with the display design, the leak also reveals some key specs of the phone. The Oppo Find 9 would be available in two variants, including the base and higher end ones. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 octa-core chipset, the base variant will pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the higher end model will run on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Previously, the Find 9 was rumored to pack 8GB of RAM.
In terms of the software, the Oppo Find 9 is said to ship with Find OS software with an upgraded version, equipped with an artificial intelligence.
Speaking of the camera, the Oppo Find 9 is believed to feature a 21MP rear camera with SmartSensor image stabilization and a 16MP front-facing camera which is like the Oppo F1 Plus. Also, it will be backed by a 4,100mAh battery with Super VOOC support.
Both variants of the Oppo Find 9 are rumored to launch in the first half of the year.
