The Oppo R9s Plus, which was launched back in October last year, has now been made available in Malaysia. The smartphone is priced at RM 2,498, which converts to around $560 based on the current exchange rate.
The Oppo R9s Plus is listed on the company’s Malaysia online store with available color variants including gold and rose gold. The device comes with 1 year warranty by Oppo Malaysia.
The Oppo R9s Plus features a metal unibody and ultra-fine six-string antenna band design. It sports a 6-inch display that is set at a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone is fueled by a Qualcomm MSM8976 Pro Snapdragon 653 processor clocked at 1.95 GHz processor, and packs a whopping 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 356GB via a microSD card on its hybrid dual-SIM slot.
In the camera department, the Oppo R9s Plus comes with a 16MP rear camera with an aperture of 1.7, dual PDAF technology, optical image stabilization system, and LED flash. The front-facing camera has 16MP capacity with an aperture of 2.0 and a host of beautification features. Shipping with Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow, the R9s Plus draws its power from a non-removable Li-Po 4,000 mAh battery with VOOC fast charging. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and microUSB v2.0.
The Oppo R9s Plus comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded on its home button. Its dimensions are 163.6 x 80.8 x 7.4 mm and weighs 185 grams.
