Despite the Galaxy Note 7 crisis in the second half of 2016, Samsung still stays focused on the Galaxy Note series. This is true as we could see a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 later this year.
An official from Samsung said that the company will release the Galaxy Note brand before the end of 2017, since the phablet market has been growing. While waiting for the news to be officially confirmed, there are rumors floating around that the Galaxy Note 8 will have 4K display for improved virtual reality and Bixby AI assistant.
It is rumored that the 4K display is specifically designed for VR, where the flagship is put right in front of your eyes, so you will find it much easier to view the pixels in the screen. This means the 4K display will be aimed at improving the VR performance of the Galaxy Note 8.
The Galaxy Note 8 will also arrive with improved stylus features and Samsung’s own virtual assistant named Bixby. Bixby is said to be a male voice assistant. We don’t still know too much about it until the official launch of the Galaxy S8 in the next few months.
In addition to the impressive 4K display and Bixby, the Galaxy Note 8 may be packed with top-end features that promise to attract Samsung fans and potential customers. The Note is also rumored to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor, and ship 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB of on-board flash storage. The Galaxy Note 7 comes with a fingerprint scanner and iris scanner for improved security. The same features may be also included in the Galaxy Note 8.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was an absolute disaster due to the exploding battery issues, so Samsung will pay special attention to the efficiency and safety of the batteries to be included in the Galaxy Note 8.
