UMIDIGI unveiled its new smartphone dubbed the UMIDIGI Z Pro at MWC 2017. It comes with impressive specs like the dual-lens SONY camera setup. Plus, the phone brings you the Live Photos feature that is also found in the iPhone series.

Every photo you take with the UMIDIGI Z Pro can also be a Live Photo. Once the feature is enabled, the camera app will record 1.5 seconds before and after a photo is taken. Plus, when you tap the photo in the gallery, you will see it animated. Live Photos feature was first introduced with the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in September 2015. And the UMIDIGI Z Pro is the first ever Android device to have this cool feature. The feature can be turned on or off at any time by heading to the phone’s camera app settings.

For some background, the Coming with a full metal build, the UMIDIGI Z Pro features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display set at a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, runs on a MediaTek Helio X27 deca-core processor coupled with a 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 256GB  via a microSD card. As for optics, the UMIDIGI Z Pro come with Dual 13MP SONY IMX258 rear camera with PDAF autofocus and Quad-LED Flash. The front-facing camera has a 13MP capacity with LED Flash. Shipping with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, the device is backed by a 3,780mAh lithium battery with fast charging support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with GLONASS, and microUSB v2.0. Its dimensions are 150.4 x 73.2 x 7.6mm and weighs 148 grams.

Color options for the UMIDIGI Z Pro include Blue, Gold, and Bold Green. UMIDIGI is now offering customers a price-cut of $50.
