Xiaomi unveiled the white-colored variant of the Xiaomi Mi MIX at CES 2017 in Las Vegas. The company announced that the handset would only be available in China, which means that other markets won’t be getting the handset. But there was no official word on the actual release date.
And now, a great news to Xiaomi fans: the white Mi Mix today goes on its first flash-sale in China alongside the standard black variant of the handset, the Mi Note 2 and the Xiaomi Mi 4.
The white Mi Mix is going on sale (3499 yuan) for 500 yuan less than the black-colored variant (3999 yuan).
For some background, the Mi Mix is a concept smartphone from Xiaomi and comes with bezel-less design with curved edges on top. It features a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with a 1080×2040 resolution, a pixel density of 362ppi, and a 94% NTSC color gamut. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, the handset comes in two configurations that include a 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, and a 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. On the camera front, the Mi Mix sports a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 lens, PDAF, dual-tone LED Flash and 4K video recording, and a 5MP snapper. In terms of connectivity, Xiaomi Mi Mix includes 4G LTE, NFC with Mi Pay support, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and a USB Type-C port with Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 support to juice up the 4,400mAh battery. The handset measures 158.8×81.9×7.9, and weighs in 209 grams.
